Prior to joining Aspen, Rishma served as a Program Coordinator at Banyan Global and interned with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), and the Center for International Policy (CIP). As an Eisenhower Global Scholar, Rishma earned her Master’s in International Relations from IE University in Madrid, where her capstone explored the intersection of climate change and mental health.
Rishma holds a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she specialized in International Law, Spanish, and Diplomacy. Rishma is from upstate New York and enjoys traveling, learning languages, cooking, and practicing Indian classical dance.
