Tanzia Redi joined the Aspen Institute Energy and Environment Program (EEP) as a Program Coordinator for Energy & Mitigation Policy. She is an MPA (Master of Public Administration) graduate from the University of Georgia with a concentration in public policy. She is a development enthusiast with experience in working with a foreign government and international development agencies. She worked with the Government of Bangladesh, the United Nations Development Program, and USAID as a policy consultant between 2015 to 2019 before moving to the US. She coordinated several initiatives in digitalizing services directed toward underprivileged communities in Bangladesh. In addition to her policy and consulting experience, she also has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh, where she focused her research on environmental sustainability and renewable energy usage in developing countries.
