Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Kate Stromseth worked in research, writing, and communication roles across nonprofit organizations. She has contributed to research initiatives at Fulphil, supporting social entrepreneurship education. She has also worked with a range of nonprofit and policy organizations, including Catalyst Planet and international development institutions in Washington, D.C., and Beijing.
Kate holds a B.A. from Vassar College in International Studies with a minor in Sustainability. She has lived abroad for much of her life, including in Beijing and Hanoi, which shapes her academic and professional interests in global policy, equity, and environmental protection. In her free time, Kate enjoys silversmithing and jewelry design, reading, and playing tennis.
