Emily Engel is a Policy Associate for the Energy & Environment Program (EEP)’s Market Innovation Team, supporting the team’s work to engage and educate stakeholders in the U.S and internationally. Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Emily interned with the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. She also previously interned at the environmental non-profit 350 Wisconsin, the non-profit environmental law center Midwest Environmental Advocates, and in the Wisconsin State Legislature.
Emily graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Environmental Studies and Political Science. She is originally from New York and enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and traveling in her free time.
