Soren Pico and Jens Thomsen at shipping trade press ShippingWatch published a piece on 3 major carriers' responses to the coZEV 2040 Ambition Statement. All three said that they welcome the demand from their customers and think that 2040 is an attainable goal. None of the carriers, however, said they could "decide and select one single" fuel, and many are still investing in LNG as an alternative fuel, even though the coZEV signatories ruled out the use of LNG in their 2040 Ambition Statement.
